Meet “DEALER-SHIP”—a 2004 Fountain 48 Express Cruiser that perfectly blends high-speed thrills with luxury cruising. This isn’t just another powerboat; this is a deeply loved, professionally customized vessel with character, presence, and over $200,000 in thoughtful upgrades.
If you’re looking for something truly turn-key and unique—this might be the boat you’ve been waiting for.
Performance That Turns Heads!!
Powered by triple Yanmar 440HP diesels (1,260 total horsepower), she leaps onto plane in under 5 seconds and cruises comfortably at 55 mph. Push her, and you’ll break 65 mph—complete with a signature 4-foot rooster tail that lets everyone know she means business.
Thanks to her double-stepped hull and Arneson Surface Drives (equipped with brand new 7-blade stainless steel props), she’s not only fast but impressively fuel-efficient, getting around 1.1 MPG at cruise.
A Layout Designed for Real Life
The cockpit was made to entertain. With seating for up to 12 guests across three benches and a large aft sunpad (which pulls out to create even more space), it’s easy to picture long summer days with friends and family aboard. The entire deck and swim platform are finished in beautiful high-gloss teak—just one of the many upgrades that elevate this boat above the rest.
Down below, the salon is fully air-conditioned and surprisingly spacious, offering nearly 7 feet of headroom, two private cabins, and two full heads with showers. Whether you’re planning overnight trips or just looking for a comfortable retreat between adventures, she delivers.
Technology, Comfort, and Attention to Detail
This boat wasn’t just upgraded—it was reimagined. The helm was completely redesigned with carbon fiber Livorsi gauges, dual Garmin 7612 displays, radar, sonar, AIS VHF, and Simrad autopilot with remote. ZipWake trim control keeps the ride smooth in all conditions.
The entertainment system?
Top of the line. JL Audio throughout—4 amps, 4 10” subs, and 4 pairs of JL components—delivers crisp, clean sound. Apple TVs and smart flat screens in every room ensure no one misses their favorite show or movie, even out at sea.
Everything inside has been redone: custom bedding, curtains, mattresses, towels, and pillows. The soft finishes feel more like a boutique hotel than a boat.
The Numbers Speak for Themselves
Here’s just a sample of what’s been invested:
• JL Audio sound system: $18,000
• Garmin electronics suite (including radar, autopilot, sonar): $32,500
• Custom helm/dash with carbon fiber: $6,000
• Interior furnishings and soft goods(beds, pillows, sheets and more): $15,000
• 7-blade SS props (original 6-blade Rollas included): $30,000
• Heavy-duty custom trailer: $50,000
Meticulously Maintained
The engine bay has been upgraded too—all brass fittings have been replaced with stainless steel. Engines have just been fully serviced by a certified Yanmar dealer, including valve adjustments and a complete tune-up. She’s in Bristol condition—easily a 9.5/10.
Why “DEALER-SHIP” Might Be The Right Boat for You
This isn’t a “project boat” or one that needs love—she’s already had it.
Now it’s her turn to ‘Love you back’
Every detail has been handled. She’s fast, comfortable, incredibly fun to drive, and built to entertain. Whether you’re stepping up into performance cruising or simply want something that stands out in any marina, DEALER-SHIP delivers.

Disclaimer
Armed with Arneson surface drive propulsion, the Fountain 48 Express cruiser didn’t just raise the performance bar for big express boats of her era; she set an entirely new standard.
Speed is what this popular sportster is all about, something she achieves with extraordinary ease thanks to her lightweight stepped hull. A cockpit is equipped with two 250-quart macerating in-sole fish boxes, two above deck livewells, and a well-positioned tackle center. The cockpit lounge has a removable table and seating for eight, and the aft section converts to a sun pad at the push of a button. Below decks, the well-finished cabin offers 6’3″ headroom, high-gloss cherry laminate cabinetry, and a full galley with microwave, fridge, and stainless steel sink. The dinette converts to a large V-berth, and two more can sleep in a double berth tucked under the bridge deck. The original interior had two heads; beginning in 2009, there’s only one. Both chairs at the helm have power seats that drop to form bolsters.
