2008 Marquis 40 SC

Introduced in 2008, As the Marquis 40 sport coupe, called the 420 sport coupe in 2009 to 2012, was one of the first boats designed to take advantage of the space-saving & performance features of Volvo IPS pod drives. 

Designed by Italian naval architectural firm Nuvolari-Lenard. 

Probably the most innovative feature is what Marquis calls a “sliding-transom”that glides aft with a push of a button to create more than 60 feet of cockpit space. Sliding glass doors provide entrance to the salon, with it sweeping windows, you shaped sofa and disappearing 26 inch LED TV is a modern blend of hardwood cabinets, lacquer trim and designer fabrics. (An electric table in the Salon drops to cocktail level or raises to dinette level) the euro-style galley is very well equipped with stainless appliances. Located forward and to Port, opposite the two seat Helm station.

The 40 SC is the combined result of the Italian Naval Architectural firm of Nuvolari-Lenard and American yacht manufacturer Marquis Yachts. This yacht has brought to life a combined vision of an open boat that not only looks amazing and is built to perfection but also provides its operator and passengers with thrilling performance. Built around Volvo's innovative IPS propulsion system the Marquis 40 SC will deliver an exhilarating ride at speeds expected to exceed 40 mph. The addition of the IPS Joystick allows the operator to confidently maneuver the yacht in tight quarters and while docking. The open-air salon and adjoining cockpit is designed for maximum access to the yacht's ocean side environment. The salon entrance doors open to create one large environment combining the salon with the yacht's cockpit. The innovative transom lounge easily glides aft with a push of a button to create more than 60 square feet of cockpit space. The yacht's salon features quality treatments such as exotic African Zebrano hardwood cabinetry with high gloss quality lacquered trim, wooden cabin sole and designer selected fixtures and appointments. The interior of the Marquis 40 SC compares in materials, style, fixtures and quality to the interiors of mega and super yachts that are cruising the world.

2011 MasterCraft X25, 22.5 feet of premium wake, surfing, and family boating capability, paired with a 2012 MasterCraft dual-axle trailer. Freshwater-only, single family owned, with just 177 hours on the clock. 

This is a well-kept example of MasterCraft’s iconic X-series performance plus family-friendly comfort. The boat seats up to 16, with a heated driver’s seat for early mornings or cool evenings, and a ZeroFlex manual folding tower with full bimini and swivel board racks for simple, tidy storage and quick setup. A big-screen LCD lets you tune presets, cruise control, ballast weight distribution, and engine performance, while the Clarion head unit with USB input keeps music at your fingertips. 

The full JL Audio system—component speakers, sub, tweeter, and tower speakers—delivers strong, clear sound to match the ride. The interior features cream vinyl with charcoal diamond-stitched accents for a premium, timeless look. 

For waterside access, there’s a front fold-down swim ladder and a rear fiberglass swim platform, plus a multi-tank ballast system with Lenco trim tabs to shape waves and optimize wake performance. Surf and night lighting, including underwater LEDs and tower speaker lights, add atmosphere for after-dark runs, and a full mooring cover protects the boat when not in use. Power comes from a 5.7L Ilmor V8 rated at 310 hp, delivering robust performance for wakesurfing, wakeboarding and cruising. The boat has been kept out of the water on a lift in summer and stored in climate-controlled conditions during winter. All trades are considered.
